Rooted in Purpose, Grown with Love

What started as a quiet dream in my heart has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. The Natural Baby Store was born from a deep desire to nurture, protect, and provide the very best for the little ones we love. It’s more than just a shop—it’s a reflection of our journey, our values, and the miracle of growing a family.

Hi There!

I’m Meagan Hall, the proud owner and face behind The Natural Baby Store! I’m also wife to Jordan, and Mama to five precious blessings!

We were married in 2006 and knew we wanted a big family. Little did we know, growing a family was not going to be easy!

We Tried For 7 Years

The heartbreak that we endured, month after month, was almost unbearable! Our faith in God and His perfect plan for our lives kept us pursuing every possible avenue of growing a family.

Enter Foster Care

Several couples from our church had entered into the foster care scene and much like a spark that is passed on, our flame was lit to head in that direction. We started the process of becoming a certified foster to adopt home. We cranked out those classes as fast as we could! And then we waited.

And waited.

And waited some more.

We were so confused because we heard children were sleeping in CPS offices and having to remain in hospitals because there were no open homes available.

When I called our agency, we found out they had looked over the final step of licensing our home. The director of our agency promised to come out that Tuesday and get everything finalized. After he did his portion of the work, he said we would be in the system within three days.

We Got the Call

Three days later, we got a call.

I was outside feeding our chickens and missed the phone call. I could not believe it when I called back and was told that our home had been thrown in the hat to take in a nine day old baby girl! There are so many more details to the story, but for the sake of time, I’ll tell you this — the investigator that picked up that baby girl from the hospital was taking her to another home in Houston because it was more convenient for her to drop her off on her drive home for the day!

But God.

The investigator received a late afternoon call to do a welfare check on OUR side of town and changed her plans. She brought this perfect, tiny, baby girl to our house and that was the start of our family.

Our first foster placement started that day on June 20, 2014. Five months later, her two older sisters moved into our house because they were in a foster only placement, and we were a foster to adopt home. We went from a family of two, to a family of five, practically overnight!

Foster care is long and hard. The system truly is broken like everyone says. We endured that system for five years. But every child deserves someone who will fight for them — not because it’s easy but because they are worth every battle.
